Game Log – Week 21.

Sunday July 22; While all the main stream official head lines talk about the riots going on in the USA and a few in other places too, the internet is full of reports about FBI raids on militia camps. Anonymous even hacks several major on line news sites to post video from the Oklahoma siege.

Most of the PCs and their friends finish moving out to the farm. Ranger Bob, RCMP officer Ray, Trucker Scott, and electrician Marco, all take steps to secure their homes and maintain their regular jobs. Herbalist Doreen continues to work at her business, which she has put up for sale.

At the farm, work on the compound proceeds in staggered shifts as people take frequent brakes to watch the news. In has become something of a running joke to refer to the place as the ‘camp’ never as the base or the compound or the fort. In the evening Yvan goes back into town to buy as much ammo as he can.

Monday July 23; Ranger Bob get a few of the crew to help him smuggle some Americans across the border. These are 4 families of prepper acquaintances of his, who often come to hunt in Canada. Once safely a hundred miles into the country they are dropped off and make their way to their chosen destinations.  This is the first of several such adventures.
Also this day Marco is laid off from his job, as his company just lost a major contract with an American firm, they must temporarily cut back staff. He goes a bit nuts.

Wednesday July 25; The L.A. riot part 2.
After the National Guard had seemed to bring things under control on Sunday, the violence flares up again.  The city is sectioned off into safe zones and danger zones.

At the farm, work on the electrical systems - including solar panels and wind turbines is finished.

Thursday July 26; China after making a public statement congratulating the USA for its swift use of military force to deal with civil unrest, prepares to invade Taiwan. The minor skirmish between US and Chinese forces in Iran, which had gone on since early June, are seen for what they are – a testing of China’s anti air technology and techniques.

Friday July 27; China attacks Taiwan. US demands that China back off, or face a formal declaration of way with in 24 hours. The news is flooded with commentary about the economic and military ramifications of the situation.
Meanwhile the Army conducts a sweep in force of the L.A. danger zones.
China claims it is using force to settle a domestic problem, just like the USA is doing.
The UN calls an emergency session to begin Monday.
