June 03; an explosion at Iran’s nuclear research facility
results in several deaths. They accuse USA
/ Israel
of sabotage.
June 04; Iran
demands a UN inquest into the matter, accusing USA of terrorist acts.
June 05; China
formally announces its ‘defend the victim’ policy. In specific if the USA attacks any nation with out UN approval, China
will step in to protect civilian centers.
As conflict in the Middle East
looms, oil prices climb. Local gas = $2 / L.
Week 15 – Construction of farm fort is about 3 days behind
schedule, no major problems or injuries.
Rush on supply buying this week.
June 15; Iran
closes the Strait of Hormuz, thus blocking
access to most of the region’s oil export ports. USA calls this move a violation of
international free shipping rights.
June 16; oil prices climb sharply, this is the ‘mini shock’
the Prof. talked about.
Local events; people rush off to fill up their cars before
the gas price hits $3 / L.
Weak 16 – June 18, Monday morning finds all prices have gone
up. Facing increased costs in transport, most stores raised their prices, even
on items already on the shelves. This caused quite a bit of anger among
consumers. In the USA many cities
experience small riots as people confront the unfair price hikes.
In Ottawa
the PM announces a special meeting to consider the situation. At the end of the
week an action play will be put in place. It may involve wage and price
controls.
In Washington the President
tells people not to worry, there is no real shortage of oil, the US can get all it needs from its friends Canada and Mexico.
The ACRO group faces an extra $5000 of shipping costs on
items already ordered.
June 20; a ship runs Iran’s blockade line. Iran fires
missiles at it. USA
returns fire at the missile stations, then sends in a rescue team to help the
sinking ship.
June 21; China
sends a protection force to Iran.
Local events; the price of gas comes down to $ 2.80 / L, after a high of $ 3.50 / L.
Week 17 – June 26, Tuesday inspection of farm-fort by
Provincial planning dep.
All prices are 20% higher than they were before the ‘mini
shock’
Week 18 - Construction of farm fort is about 5 days behind schedule.
Week 19 – July 09; tip from group’s RCMP insider that a unit
was assigned to look into the farm-fort. They are just curious, taking a
friendly look, with no specific agenda.
July 13; inspection of electrician to check all the wiring
and power systems.
Week 20 – International events
July 18; underground news reports mass arrests of protest
organizers, before the big rally. Many prepper web sites recommend going into
hiding now!
July 20; big protest rallies go ahead anyhow, many in US
have militia involvement to ‘keep peace and guarantee free speech’ Things turn
violent, by night fall riots brake out.
In local events; the protest is broken
up with only a small fight, no serious injuries.
July 21; first major battle of the new US civil war
FBI go to arrest militia group who was involved in
yesterday’s riot at their base near Oklahoma.
They are met with well armed and organized resistance. The National Guard are
called in, but forced to pull back when the militia uses mortars. During the
night an air raid flattens the camp. The entire event was sent out over the
net, despite attempts to shut down the signal.
